Revere and rejoice the pristine glory of sweet Telugu

In its efforts to develop, strengthen the pride and glory of Telugu language in cultural and literary areas, Andhra Saraswatha Parishat will organise international seminars and cultural activities from January 6 – 8, 2022 in the premises of West Berry High School in the town of Bhimavaram, West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh.

An Utsav committee is being set up to oversee the activities and make the programme a success. We hope that litterateurs, artistes, representatives from Telugu associations, correspondents from Telugu publications, actively participate in the forthcoming events, discuss and provide their valuable suggestions in the scheduled seminars and guide us in the right direction.

At ASP, we respect time and so refrain from activities that involve award ceremonies as our core focus and objective is to preserve and promote the rich heritage of Telugu language. Let us get inspired from literary stalwarts who uphold the dignity and pride of Telugu on Kavitraya Vedika (Kavitraya refers to the trinity of poets namely Nannayya, Tikkana and Yerrapragada).

We believe that the new education policy proposed by our honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, will inspire and pave way towards the development and progress of our mother tongue. We hope that with the well wishes and support of both the Chief Ministers of Telugu speaking states, the language shall flourish.

The ancient language of Telugu that has achieved international fame should serve as the temple of knowledge to every threshold of Telugu household. The legacy of mother tongue should be passed on to children by explaining the glory of the Telugu heritage in a comprehensive manner. We must put in efforts to pass on the valuable treasure of the rich legacy of Telugu culture and tradition to the younger generation. Our language is our wealth and our true identity. We look forward to your suggestions, insights which are of immense importance to the development of Telugu language.
